For the love of tea & Chinese fashion

I do love tea, not just milk tea, but also plain old normal tea. It's healthier than milk tea because 1) no sugar is added, 2) there's no milk, 3) no boba--even though boba gives an amazing, tasteful texture. However, tea is usually an acquired taste. It is often times a little bitter and unique in taste. Green tea, Oolong tea, and Puer tea, and rose tea are some of my favorites.

Today's tea is not very Chinese-y though. I just recently found a recipe for Cinnamon-Apple tea:

This tea is actually a little sweet because of the apples~ The little cinnamon flavor is great as well! Additionally, it's healthy! Apples have a water-soluble vitamin (C & B6) that can enter through the water, so hooray!

If you would like the recipe, check it out here: Love, Fenni.

Anyways, I wanted to talk about Chinese fashion today. Chinese fashion is nowhere comparable in popularity to that of Japanese and Korean fashions. Chinese fashion doesn't really have a distinct style, and what is popular right now is Japanese, Korean, and other international styles.

Even so, fashion in China has been and still is growing a great deal. They're beginning to separate themselves from others to create their own brands and names. I'm very excited to see what's in store for Chinese fashion~

Today, I wanted to introduce this e-store on a Chinese sort of Ebay/Amazon called Taobao. The shop name is Hello Miffy~ It's super cute and the model is adorable as well~

I love the simplicity of the outfits and how comfy they all seem to be. I'd wear these going to and from classes, and it'd be very comfy to wear just sitting around in class or at home doing homework~

This post's question: What's your favorite drink? If you like tea, which type?

  1. I'm a huge fan of green tea and most fruit teas. I prefer them over coffee to be honest :)))) I think it's high time for Chinese fashion to come to its own but I hope they have a more distinction/original aesthethic.

The tea looks amazing! I've never been a tea or coffee person but that's before I knew of herbal tea. I'm definitely going to start soon, maybe with a green tea. I'll also be sharing the recipe on my blog so make sure to check it out. Thanks for sharing!

  16. That's cool! Are you studying Korean language right now? I'm still studying Chinese, because as a child, I neglected my Chinese .___.' But I really wanna learn Korean and Japanese. :)

I totally agree >__< Sometimes I really like the stuff, but other times...sigh...I think clothing is more of a hit or miss, but I'm thinking of getting some stationary this year--hopefully that won't be a hit or miss XD haha

  17. I wish I was studying Korean! They don't offer it in my university. So if I study abroad, I'm planning to take korean courses there! Or maybe I'll just try to self learn! Ahh are you? I went to Chinese school from kindergarten through 6th grade, but I never understood it, so during high school I took 4 years of Chinese including AP Chinese. Japanese seems difficult to learn! I really want to take Chinese classes again and learn Korean and Thai actually!

Oh I love stationary! Do you go through a taobao agent? I only ordered from taobao once when my grandpa went to China! Do you speak canto or mando?

  18. I think I want to study the language in possibly next year. I hope I can fit it into my schedule >__< I want to at least take Korean I before I try to self learn, because I feel that it would be best to get the basics down before self-study XD eels.

Waaa! Thai? That's cool! I've actually never heard the language .___.' whoops...

I love stationary in general! I usually get it through my dad. He travels to China to work a lot :) I also have family over there, so getting stuff from Taobao is actually quite convenient (however, I do have to wait a while XD)

    I speak mando. You?
