Beauty haul: Innisfree Jeju hand creams

I'm super excited to share my first experience with Innisfree, a Korean brand that focuses on natural beauty products! Lucky for me, I ordered when they were offering BOGO for hand creams and free shipping over $30! I just had to stock up on some hand care products, especially since my hands are always dry in this dry, Californian weather!

This is how the package arrived--in a box labeled Innisfree. Lol. All the products were well packaged and Innisfree even put all the hand creams in a smaller, white box--how convenient that my creams weren't spilling all over the place~ hahaha.

For this order, I purchased 12 Innisfree hand creams for US$27, making each hand cream $2.25 each! This is, in my opinion, a great deal, considering that Innisfree creams are contain natural ingredients and are so cute to carry around! They're not bulky at all~ I also purchased 1 eco-finger mask mask for $3, so I could get the $30 minimum for free shipping (code: NEWYEAR2)!

Additionally, each order comes with three samples and a scratch coupon (free shipping, 10% off, or 20% off)! For samples, I choose the green tea seed serum, soybean firming serum, and Jeju volcanic pore essence. However, there many other samples that you can from--currently, there are 13 sample choices.

from left to right, top to bottom: camellianarcissus, peach, daphne, rose, gardenia, and lotus.

Here's a closer up of all the hand creams from this order! I can't wait to try them! Of course, I didn't buy all 12 hand creams for my own personal use. I'll give giving some away as gifts! :) I believe they'd make a cute addition to any gift bags! I already have someone in mind! Hope she likes them :D

If you buys are interested in these hand creams, Innisfree has a buy 2 get 2 free deal right now! AND if you put in the code NEWYEAR2, you can have free shipping! They currently a bunch of other deals, too!

To purchase these hand creams, check out:
Innisfree - 4 for $9 ($2.25 each + free shipping over $30)
W2Beauty - $9.68 each + free shipping
Jolse - $5.98 each + free shipping

Have you ever tried Innisfree's hand creams? If so, what do you think of them? If not, which one would you like to try?

Review & haul: Jolse, online Korean beauty shop

This post has been in my to-do list for while now...Sorry for the delay! Anyways, this is my first time shopping with Jolse, an online Korean beauty and cosmetics shop. It has many popular Korean brands like Etude House, Skinfood, Tonymoly, Innisfree, and Mizon. They have great reputation for their quality of service and for their pricing! Plus, they have free shipping for all purchases!!

Jolse Homepage

Jolse always has good deals, and during Black Friday (when I made my purchase >__<), there were plenty of great sales! Currently They have some 2+1 deals and 10% certain brands every week (currently Innisfree and Skinfood)! Each order also comes with so many samples! My order came with 8 samples~~

My entire Jolse order
My two purchases - snail creams!
Order made: Nov. 27, 2014
Date shipped: Nov. 28, 2014
Date arrived: Dec. 15, 2014
(arrived 18 days after purchase)

Moreover, Jolse has great customer service. I got sort of impatient and after 15 days of waiting (13 business days), I decided to email them regarding when my order. They replied in 2 days and were very courteous~ They mentioned the date my order was shipped and told me that shipping to the US takes 10-20 business days

When my package arrived, the two creams were wrapped in layers of bubble wrap! The package itself came in a very sturdy boxy. My items came safely without any mishaps! Overall, my experience with Jolse was great~

Bath and Body Works lotion haul

Who doesn't like a good sale? I am absolutely obsessed with them! :) And luckily, Bath and Body Works has a great sale right now! $3 per lotion?? I'm ecstatic! hahaha. My family purchased a lot, so we can stock up for a while. My favorite scents are the holiday ones, but unfortunately I didn't get any... :( oh well. They all smell pretty nice~

Out of these, my favorite is the Japanese Cherry Blossom! Which scent do you like best from Bath & Body Works?

Discovering the skin care industry + mini haul

School has gotten extremely busy recently...particularly for my entrepreneurship class. There's a constant barrage of assignments and projects. The big ones are:
  1. interviewing 3 "strangers" in a chosen industry (mine is skin care)
  2. fundraise over $200 in 4 hrs for a particular nonprofit group (given 2 days to prep)
I just completed the first assignment (the interviews) today. I went with my sister to a nearby high-end mall, using Lyft and Uber, since we don't have cars. We just went around the mall, looking for different skin care brands and talking to managers. Some of the brands we interviewed were LUSH, Benefit, Origins, Estee lauder, and Skin Food.

At first, I was super intimidated and afraid that each interview would go badly. However, they all went pretty smoothly, and all the managers were super sweet and easy to talk to. I learned so much from the skin care industry and skin care trends--particularly from the retail end. It was definitely a great learning experience! I know for sure I would never have done something like this if not for the class--the class is really pushing me out of my comfort zone, but it's definitely helping me become a better speaker and communicator.

Anyways, because I had the opportunity to check out lots of different skin care brands at the mall, I ended up purchasing lots of products from Skin Food and LUSH...good and fun experience, but bad for my wallet >___<

Skin Food
Wildberry Milk Cleansing Cream ($9.40)
Black Sugar Mask samples (x5)
Avocado Rich Toner sample
Green Tea Mask ($2.00)
Potiron Au Lait Essence Mask ($3.50)

LUSH
BB Seaweed Mask ($6.95)
Full of Grace Serum ($14.95)

LUSH packaging - isn't this cute? So artsy!

The other project will happen tomorrow. Some people in my group have contacts with some semi-famous individuals. We're hoping to raffle off autographs and a small, $20 Chick-fil-a gift card at our school's home football game. Once again, I'm pretty worried about how this will turn out. But hopefully lots of people will be interested not just in buying and winning raffles but also in donating towards a good cause.

I will update you all to let you know how this fundraiser went~

What types non-profit groups or charities would you guys love to work with?
