Review: Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner

This is my first Etude House product! I'm so excited :) My friend had purchased it for me from Hong Kong as a random gift! She's so sweet <3 Love her!!

Anyways, Etude House is a pretty popular Korean skincare and cosmetics brand. It's known for its high quantity products sold at affordable pricing~~ More over, Etude House has some of the cutest packaging/designs. I was overall very excited to try the brand's products!

Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner

This is the 10-in-1 benefits version (original had 7-in-1). Similar to a toner, the Freshner should be used directly after cleansing, twice a day. It claims to help clean and minimize pores, refine skin tone, provide moisture for the skin, maintain ideal skin pH, and more!

The Freshner is 250ml, which, for me, can last quite some time. The toner ingredients are quite safe. The only qualm I have with the ingredients list is that alcohol is listed second. Alcohol tends to be drying for the skin, and in large quantities can be harmful for the skin. Unfortunately, Etude House uses enough alcohol in this product to have it listed second...

This product definitely isn't a magical cure. It won't instantly remove blackhead or minimal pores, and I have yet to see much change. Additionally, the smell isn't that great. Unlike some of the other products I've used, the smell is very simple and a little alcohol-y. It definitely doesn't smell like roses. hahaha

It does, however, do a good good of removing dirt and doesn't leave behind any residue (it's has a watery, toner-like consistency). Lastly, I would say that this product can help control oily skin, as the alcohol helps remove the oil on the skin. My skin has definitely felt less oily after using it. Considering all the alcohol in this product, it's not too drying (leaning more towards the moisturizing side) and leaves my face feeling fresh, soft, and smooth. However, moisturizer is still a must!

My Black Friday Wishlist

In the spirit of Black Friday shopping, I decided to make a collection of all the things I wish I could purchase for Black Friday (but probably won't-->poor college student). It's always fun just surfing the web to see the styles out there :)

Jolse (korean beauty shop)
Jolse has a black friday sale!! I was so surprised and excited!! I decided (on a whim...) to order Skin Watchers Green Snail Hydrating Gel and Mizon Black Snail All in One Cream (I wanted to purchase the Skin Watchers Green Snail Intensive Cream, but I mis-clicked and mis-ordered :( whoops!). Anyways, both are pretty good deals and I really wanted to try something with snail in it XD hehehe.
                                      $19.98 $11.98 ($8 discount!)                                  $19.49 $13.64 ($5.85 discount!)

I'm feeling a little sad though...I could have saved another $3 if I had only purchased the other Skin Watchers product... T__T hahaha, too late to regret now though...

American Eagle
I actually still over American Eagle, although it's supposed to target younger women? Most of my pants are from AE, and they are quite comfy! AE sales/clearance sections are still quite expensive in my opinion, but sometimes they have extra 40-70% off their clearance! During those times, I shop (like crazy). Right now, for Black Friday, they have 40% off.

AEO Heathered Turtleneck Sweater    ($40 $24)      AEO V Neck Jegging Sweater, Mint     ($35 $21

Mango
Mango is definitely one of my all-time favorite stores (that I haven't ever purchased from...YET). They tend to have some pretty good deals. Although sadly, the Black Friday deal is only 30% off. I've seen 40% off before!! Anyways, I really love the style. These are some of my favorites...but I might wait till a 40% off appears before purchasing XD hahaha.

Round-Neck Striped Sweater  ($20 $14)         Chunky-Knit Sweater ($50 $35)

What's on your Black Friday Wish list? <3

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I'm back! Permanently!

Hi everyone! After some thought, I've finally decided to stick with Anna, Indeed. <3 Steph & I will each have our own blog. We may have each other as guest authors or write public "letters" to each other, updating each other (and you all) on what's been going on in our lives. We'll see how that goes XD hehehe. Thanks for everyone's input. I truly appreciate the time you guys spent investing in me~

hahaha, selfie.

Can't believe it's almost thanks giving (well, I guess it's tomorrow XD). I'm supper excited! I've been eating lots of pumpkin pies and turkey! These are definitely some of my favorite things (in the world) to eat! hahaha. Hope you all will have some yummy food too and spend quality time with family and/or friends!
I actually won't be going home for thanksgiving this time (so sad), but I will be attending my school's president's house for a thanksgiving dinner. I think the president invites all out-of-state students to come. How generous! I can't wait to try the food; I've heard it's delicious!!

I also really want to go Black Friday shopping, but I have no car T__T. I guess, if anything, I'll just shop online XD hahaha

What are your plans for the break?

hiatus...

Hi everyone!! I'm so sorry for not updating recently!!

Please continue to be patient! I'm trying to decide what direction to take (my blog) at the moment:

  1. keep this blog and focus on beauty/skincare AND start a new fashion blog with my sister, OR
  2. completely start a new blog with my sister and have that blog focused on fashion and beauty.
If you have any insight or suggestions, let me know~~

thanks so much everyone <3
