I'm finished with finals!!! Horray!! Now, all is left is break and relaxation. Here's my plans for this season:

-knitting/crochet: scarves, pompom hats

-sew: skirts, Q2han tutorials

-train for 10k run

-catch up on movies

-bake cookies

-make latte mix christmas drinks

I also got some nail polishes recently! They're so pretty!!

The SinfulColors Glass Pink is a bit transparent, so I'm looking to get a white nail polish to use under! Any suggestions?

TCD Christmas Party

Hi all!! Here's a selfie in the christmas tree ornament for y'all! Hahaha

Today was filled joy and creative baking! Hehe! I made cake bars with brown sugar cream cheese frosting!!! Forgot to take pictures of the final result though... They were my secret Santa gift!! Hope she enjoys them!!

The christmas party was a lot of fun though!! Everyone brought some food and we talked and watched Elf!!! Sadly I had to leave early though... But for our secret Santa game, we had to guess our Santa via three questions!! It was a lot of fun <3

Thanksgiving and the VAMPS

Hi all! Hope your thanksgivings was filled with blessings, family, and friends! Mine definitely was. It was also the time I first drank alcohol! Whoot! Disclaim: I am not an alcoholic! My friend bought me vodka, but sadly, it was so strong and bitter...I'm really a girl...I like champagne. haha. Anyhow, I had so many Asian potlucks and stuffed myself well. It's probably time to go on a diet now, but isn't that how all (at least for me) holidays are like?

Now that I'm back, I'm suffering from a case of I-don't-want-to-study-anymore syndrome. I have a couple days of class left and then finals... So due to my "syndrome," I went to my first J-rock concert yesterday! I was so excited; I loved the atmosphere and the pumping of my heart. The band was called the VAMPS, which was started by Hyde from L'arc en Ciel and KAZ from Oblivion Dust.

Now Here's for some artistic interpretation of the venue: House of Blues~~ I took them while waiting for Vamps to come out. I promise I was paying attention, lol!

Hi all! Ahhh...I've been so "busy" recently. Everything fun just kept popping up! No real exams or projects, but a lot of events!

This year I joined the Traditional Chinese Dance (TCD) club and we went on a retreat last weekend! It was an amazing time of fun and bonding! The beach was so beautiful and the weather was amazingly warm. 

I've never done Chinese dance before, but it's a lot of fun(and super hard!). We learn to dance with fans and umbrellas. Super beauty dance form!

Recently I've become interested in patterns! It's very difficult for me to think of, but these are three of them. Haha, this is what I do when I don't pay attention in class...bad, bad, bad.

Blessings from friends & family

Monday and Tuesday has been so hectic, a whirlwind of exams and papers! I thank God that all these trials (of finding time to spend with my lovely, wonderful, and amazing parents from out-of-state and studying for exams) passed smoothly. Truly God is good and faithful to His people.

Again, today, I was reminded of how loving He is and good my life is. I have amazingly, super awesome friends and family. They are so kind hearted, sweet, and loving; I don't know what I would do without them. They are my rock and support! I'm shocked by all the things they secretly planned for my sister and me. Now I have two cakes and a batch of brownies in the fridge, a cute handmade monkey (year of the monkey! who's with me? Whoot, whoot!), a bunch of balloons, and some pinatas!

Birthday weekend

My sister (steph) and my birthdays are coming up! So excited! My parents came down to California to visit and we had an amazing time together--even though I had 2 midterms and a paper coming up all during the first two days of the week. Sad, sad. This this bad news could not tone down the happiness and joy that filled the weekend!

Little Tokyo <3

How much fun it is too go out to eat and sight see with friends! Little Tokyo Plaza is so cute; it gives me a sense of peace with the background music playing and white noise of people in the background! Such a lovely sight.

I'm an admirer: kiko mizuhara

I really love Kiko Mizuhara. She has such spunk and appeal. What can I say? Her beauty is priceless! Her fashion is so chic; it's clean and crisp. Her smile is beautiful and refreshing!

Worry is a rocking chair

This weekend was amazing and refreshing. It reminded me of some fundamental truths: 1) God is good and faithful 2) Don't worry too much 3) Don't get too caught up with what the world thinks of you or what others want you to do.

Worry is like a rocking chair: it keeps you moving but it gets you nowhere. Even though I've been going through a rough week with  school, God is faithful and just. I need to take joy in trials, because that's how I am going grow stronger and stronger and STRONGER!

This is the third week of college. It's going to start getting busy soon. I'm getting more and more stressed out but I trust this year will be very amazing and rewarding.

I currently obsessed with blues right now. This watercolor is a beautiful color!

Design: Ocean Blues

Hi everyone!

I love fashion design and drawing. It's fun to create new ideas and mix new colors! Hope you like this one. I have some more that I need to finish that I will post up as soon as I can.

This piece I'm calling Ocean Blues. Haha not really great at naming >__< hopefully that will change over time! I used water color paint and created a gradient shade. I love this color; it's  such a beautiful and radiant blue. I hope you'll all like this combination of crop top and skater skirt.
